1961-66 Oldsmobile Starfire Scripts and Emblems
The following scripts and emblems are available for your restoration.
SE6241T "Starfire" Fender and Trunk Script 1961 Starfire 35.00 ea. 1961 "Starfire" Script: this script is used on the Fenders and Trunk of the 1961 Starfire. Because the Starfire in 1961 was a limited edition model the front fender "Starfire" script was not listed as a separate item in the GM parts book and was initially installed as an assembly with the front fender panel. The Script is the same size and style as the Trunk Script but a different mounting system is used. The SE6241T has three mounting studs used on the trunk of the 1961 and 1962 Starfire models. For use on the fender of 1961 Starfire models some modification will be necessary. Either the pins must be cut down and double sided tape or epoxy used, or holes drilled in the fender. We suggest you consult with a trained body technician before performing this task yourself. When ordering body panels from JASWEST specify if you are re using your old script or one of ours. Steve Westlake from JASWEST can make provisions to use either one.
In 1962 the Starfire used two different scripts; the SE6274
was used on each of the front fenders and the SE6241T was used on the trunk. Both Scripts are quality die cast chrome, licensed by General
Motors, and include fasteners.

1963 Starfire models used three different Scripts. The
Convertible used two front fender Scripts and one Trunk Script. The 2 Door
Hardtop used two roof panel Scripts and one Trunk script.
